1.1 The website www.nikollaw.gr (hereinafter the “Website“) is owned by Maria Nikolaou of Nikolai, attorney-at-law of Piraeus, with the registration number 4244, registered office and law firm in Athens, 40 Mavromichali Street, P.C. 10680, tel. 210 3388529, 6951711001 and e-mail m.nikolauu@gmail.com (hereinafter the “Attorney“, the “Law Firm” or “we”).
1.2 The Website is offered to inform you about the Lawyer’s curriculum vitae, the areas of specialization and in general the services provided and the news of the Law Firm, but also to enable you to contact the Lawyer or her associates and to make an appointment with them. At the same time, the Lawyer and her associates compile and publish in the above mentioned Website informative articles on legislative and jurisprudential developments that are part of the legal subject of the Law Office.
2.1 Please note that you should read these terms and conditions (hereinafter the “Terms of Use” or “Terms“) carefully before browsing the Site, accessing any of its content, features, functions or services or using it in any way.
2.2 These Terms govern the use of the Site by its visitors and users (hereinafter referred to as “users” or “you“). Any use of it implies your unconditional acceptance of the Terms of Use. These Terms have full legal force and effect and are deemed to have been signed in writing between the Lawyer and the Users. By using the Site, you represent that you have the right and ability to enter into this Agreement and that you will comply with all of these Terms. Please do not use or interact with the Site in any way if you do not agree to them.
The Lawyer reserves the right to amend or replace unilaterally and at its sole and free discretion the present Terms, at any time and without your prior notification or consent/approval. You are solely responsible for checking the content of these Terms from time to time, as any use of the Website after their modification/replacement shall signify your unconditional acceptance of the new version of these Terms. We undertake to modify the “Last Updated” date at the beginning of this document whenever we modify the contents of the Terms of Use in whole or in part.
4.1 Intellectual property rights
The Lawyer, as the original creator or under contract or as the legal licensee with the original creators, retains exclusive intellectual property rights to all content displayed through the Website and to the latter as such, such as, but not limited to, its appearance and aesthetics, texts, graphics, images, photographs, drawings, logos, audio and/or image clips, source code, etc. The above are protected by the applicable national and European legislation on intellectual property and the relevant international conventions. You unconditionally accept that you will not use the content of the Website, in whole or in part, for any commercial use, without the written permission of the Lawyer. In particular, any reproduction, copying, downloading, modification, adaptation, adaptation, transformation, republication, sale, distribution or other use or adaptation of the content of the Site, as well as the decompilation or in any way use or adaptation of the software of the Site, in whole or in part, without the written permission of the Lawyer, is strictly prohibited. 4.2 Industrial property
The Law Firm’s domain name, trademarks and other distinctive features displayed on the Website are the industrial property of the Law Firm and/or its suppliers, and are protected by Greek and European laws on trademarks and industrial property in general and the relevant international conventions, the law of unfair competition and the provisions of the Civil Code on the right to name and personality. Their appearance and display on the Site should in no way be construed as a licence to use the domain name, trademarks and/or other distinctive signs in question by anyone.
4.3 Any infringement in any way of the intellectual property rights referred to in paragraphs 4.1 and 4.2 of this Condition shall incur the liability and penalties provided by law. The Lawyer reserves the right to take legal action against any infringer.
The processing of personal data of the users of the Website is carried out in accordance with the Privacy Policy of the Website.

7.1 This Website is offered exclusively to inform you about the professional training of the Lawyer, the areas in which she specialises and therefore the cases she undertakes in principle, about previous cases she has won, but also about legislative and jurisprudential developments. In addition, it is provided so that you can contact the Lawyer and/or her associates and make an appointment with them. In particular, the Website includes case-by-case contact forms through which users may submit requests to contact or schedule an appointment with the Lawyer and/or her associates. Thereafter, the latter will contact you for these purposes, after assessing that the requests submitted are genuine and not fictitious, that they have been submitted in good faith and that they are able to take up your case in principle.
7.2 However, both the articles published on this Website and its content in general are not intended to provide legal services, advice or guidance or to make professional recommendations on behalf of the Lawyer or its associates and should not be construed as such by users or relied upon in making a decision or taking any action or omission. Similarly, requests made by Users for contact or appointments through the Website cannot be considered as an undertaking to process an order by the Solicitor and/or its associates on behalf of Users, unless the conditions set out in 7.3 below are met.
7.3 The only way to obtain personalised legal services from the Solicitor and/or her associates is to contact her directly, in person, by telephone or via an online appointment, and agree in writing or verbally that she will take your case. In no way does this Website operate as a means of providing you with professional legal services, but rather as a means of publicly promoting the Attorney, her associates and the Law Firm as a whole. You acknowledge that we shall not be liable for any harm, damage, charge, expense or consequence suffered by the user as a result of the user’s failure to understand the foregoing.
7.4 The Solicitor and her associates shall always act in good faith and within the scope of the instructions given and the law. They strictly observe professional secrecy, the Code of Lawyers (Law 4194/2013) and the Code of Ethics of the Legal Profession, as amended and in force.
7.5 The Site is provided “as is” without any warranty whatsoever. In particular, the Lawyer shall make every effort to ensure that the web pages, services, features, functions, options and contents of the Website are provided at all times, without interruption, without errors and that errors are corrected. In addition, it makes every effort to ensure that any content or information you receive through the Site is valid, accurate and up-to-date and that the Site is free of viruses or other harmful software or components. However, in no event does the Lawyer guarantee all of the above and does not assume that the Lawyer or its partners, suppliers, etc. any liability for any financial or other direct or indirect positive or consequential damage, costs, expenses, charges, etc. suffered by users from the use of the Website or as a result thereof. – transmit, send or otherwise promote to the Lawyer and the Law Firm, its partners and/or suppliers, the other users of the Website or any third party through the Website, information that is untrue, defamatory, slanderous, misleading, threatening, offensive and generally harmful,

You acknowledge that under no circumstances shall we or our partners be liable for the content of the websites to which the Site may link, their terms of use, their policy on the processing of personal data and the use of cookies, the services/products they offer or the advertisements they contain, nor for any financial or other direct or indirect positive or consequential damage, costs, charges, etc. suffered by the user who visits them. The validity, interpretation and enforcement of these Terms and any amendment/replacement thereof, as well as the existence or non-existence of the rights and obligations provided for thereunder, shall be governed by Greek law. The competent courts for any disputes arising from the use of the Website are the courts of Athens, to whose jurisdiction the parties voluntarily submit.
